My Halloween Masterpiece

So as you know, I was a chicken and Blake was a farmer for Halloween.. Everyone has been wondering how we made our costumes. So i thought I'd post a few pictures of the process. Blake was the mastermind behind how to actually make it, he is the artistic one. Oh and by the way, it was really hot while he was hot gluing my feathers on... and I mean temperature hot.. not sexy hot! :) Oh and don't mind my garmies.. haha

And of course, the finished product :)

Thanksgiving Week Part 2 - Jackson Hole

And for the second half of the Thanksgiving break we made our way up to Jackson Hole with Blake's family. It was so much fun, not to mention me and Blake had a few interesting experiences on our road trip up there.. one including a GHOST! Seriously.. but maybe I'll blog about this later. It's creepy and I'm home alone. Well we had tons of fun up in Jackson, we pretty much just walked around the shops, ate food, and hung out and played games along with a yummy Thanksgiving feast! It was super great, and I love Blake's family. Ya ya! Okay and now we get to have tons of family time over Christmas! ahhh I love this time of year ♥ !!

Here are also some pictures of our trip in October with Cherise and Aaron now this was a Las Vegas hotel room if i've ever seen one! Mirrors on the ceiling, mood lighting pink walls! What more can you ask for?? :) We went to the Byu Vegas game and then just hung out... these are the only pictures we really ended up with, and this is funny because they are all really childish.. kind of just how we are when we all get together!

Our Thanksgiving Week- Vegas

Well gosh everyone MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Wow! Can I just say I love my husband? I don't want a mushy goo ga ga blog, but I really truly and honestly feel my love for him grow each day. This is the best news! After a year we are just loving each other more and more, what more can I ask for? I am so excited to spend these next couple weeks with him over Christmas vacation!! Sorry, I haven't had time to update my blog since finals, and everything got crazy. But wow, doesn't it feel good to have some time to just chillax! I wrote in my journal a few days ago, for the first time in a year!! This year has been soooo crazy!

So anyway, over Thanksgiving break we had the time of our lives. We spent the first half of

the week in Vegas for our Anniversary.. It was a side of Vegas I've never seen before. We had

a beautiful room at the Wynn Encore overlooking their amazing golf course and swimming pools no sign of that dirty strip anywhere! It was breathtaking :) We just had a super relaxed vaca with lots of Christmas shopping and yummy food. I just love having Blake to myself.

it's something I don't get often with him being so busy. (Not complaining) I just love when we can only focus on hanging out with each other and making each other laugh. It's so fun!

oh, also we went to this awesome show at the Encore, it was called La Reve has anyone seen it? Pretty spectacular! Here are some pictures of our adventure!

Happy Anniversary!!!

Okay so today is our one year Anniversary!!! I'm so excited! I can't believe we have been married for one year. This has most definitely been the most amazing rewarding year of my life. I'm so grateful for all of the blessings I have received while being married to Blake. He really is perfect for me, especially because I don't know if anyone else could put up with my crap :) I keep thinking about our wedding and crying.. I think I've looked at the clock every 15 minutes trying to figure out what I was doing at that time one year ago. I'm so sad that it's over!! It was such a great day, and perfect timing... It was beautiful outside, and everyone seemed so happy for us!! I really am so grateful for such wonderful friends and family! Well, i'll stop being so mushy.. But I will post some pics. Can't wait for many more! - Allyse

I have a new nephew... he is amazing and I love him. I feel so blessed because I have the cutest nieces and nephews in the whole ENTIRE world... I know everyone says that.. but I will prove it to all of you- You are all just biased toward your nieces and nephews and I'm basing this on the facts... This may seem harsh, but I'm sure after you look at my pictures you will completely agree on every level, that way no hard feelings will be formed...

Oh Gosh oh Gosh!!

Well, I must say, this next story is quite embarrassing, but I feel like if I blog it out,

maybe I won't feel like such a moron, or maybe some of you will just plain find it

amusing! Or maybe I just secretly think it's too funny and retarded not to share..

So Chicken Flied Rice.....

I wanted to make some, my mommy makes it and it is always ooo soo yummy..

And it's actually great because you can munch off of it for a few days at a time.

So NEways.. I go to the store right, and one of the ingredients I need is frozen

peas... I get home, and realize OH NO! I've bought frozen CORN... what??

CORN? for chicken flied rice? (are you enjoying my chinese accent?)

So no big deal right?? I will just go back to the store and get some frozen peas

(Bah, don't you hate when you forget stuff at the store) So I go back to the store

and realize when I get home Dum Dum Dum.. that I bough frozen CORN

AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I seriously have a mental issue.

So for the third time I go to the store and come home and this time- I did it, aren't

you guys proud!?!? I actually bought frozen PEAS.. such a simple, yet difficult task.

So I make my chicken flied rice and it looks soooo yummy and I'm putting all my

ingredients away, and realize OOOOOO NO that I put Worchestershire sauce

(Who knows how to spell that anyway) in instead of SOY SAUCE!! my main ingredient

and I substitute it because I mainly forgot to look at the label before I put it in!

Here ya go rice, here's some dark brown sauce for you, I don't care what it is

just throw it on in.... :) Is anyone else this dyslexic when it comes to COOKING???

A Funtacular Date!

So it's been a while since I've blogged and there are some fun things we did this summer that I haven't talked about! Blake took me on a rockin date up to the Alpine slide/coaster and it was super fun! We went down the Alpine slide first and then did the Alpine Coaster second- My personal fav! It was kind of cute because this is where we came on like our second date everrrr and it was the first time we cuddled.. ooo aaaaa ;) So we for sure did have a splendid time! The Alpine Coaster is so friggin fast BTW! Oh my! If you haven't been on it, you totally need to go- and I would recommend two people both going on the same little cart thingy.. the ride up is romantical and on the way down it's much more fun because you have more weight!!! Super awesome! So on our way home we went over Guardsmans Pass (spelling?) It's such an awesome view for those of you who haven't driven it and we stopped at Silver Lake- which also has a lot of romantic history for us! It's GOrgEOUs for those of you who haven't been there.. oh so purty! I'll post some pics! And last but not least we ate at Porcupine Grill..mmMMMMmm so tasty.. if any of you, and i mean any of you haven't done all 4 of these activities i would STRONGLY suggest fitting them in to your busy lives somewhere, I know you wont be disappointed! Can I just say lastly that I love my hubby- What a lucky lady I am.. I'm sure glad we decided to get hitched after all that time of dating, we sure made the right decision.. :) I'll get on and post about our recent trips too! xoXo for now.
